is a registered organisation, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1961 having under its aegis five educational institutions.
It is a “precious gift of the century” the far sighted visionaries of this land, to people of Kodagu which have been a cause for transformation of lives of thousands of natives of this land and it is our prayer that it may continue to be such an inspiration for centuries to come.
It has gloriously completed five decades of fruitful existence, and has delivered thousand of graduates to the society who have contributed to the development of this country and abroad, and have carved unique niches for themselves in this beautiful world.
We have celebrated the distinguished achievements of the founding fathers, good Samaritans and the glory of the institutions in the Golden year 2018, through Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
At this juncture, we bow in gratitude to the office bearers and members of the governing council of these fifty years, who strove to add many a milestone to the history of this institution. In fifty years, their untiring efforts have transformed the infant institution of 1968, to a premier educational hub of our country.
History of last five decades of this institution will narrate about, their vision, their commitment, their dedication, their sacrifices, their contributions and their dreams. They have toiled as though their lives depended on their work towards this institution, when in fact, even to this day and beyond, their toil is the base on which, many lives depend upon and many lives are transformed for the better. We are humbled the magnanimity of their thought and deeds.
During the previous year “Careers 360” in its July 2016 edition had placed Cauvery College, Gonikoppal as one of the best Colleges of Karnataka placing it at 49th place out of 2045 degree colleges of Karnataka. Now one more feather in the cap of our institution, as the June 4. 2018 edition of INDIA TODAY through its survey INDIA TODAY – MRDA has declared that the Cauvery College, Gonikoppal stands at the 80th best Arts College and at 100th best Science colleges of our country, and Cauvery College, Virajpet is placed at 98th place in Arts stream among the best colleges of our country.
The venue, the ambiance, the infrastructure, the facilities, the faculties have contributed to make our colleges stand out and be placed within 100 best colleges of the country among more than 14500 degree colleges in the country.
Cauvery Polytechnic, Gonikoppal is also on a high pedestal with innumerable invention that has bagged the highest place in competition at National level even with engineering colleges.
Our colleges including Pre University colleges have produced students of high repute who are the torchbearers of our institutions.
The only tribute to the sacred souls who gave birth to this institution, would be to fulfill their dreams and vision in entirety, striving to enhance the glory of the institution in taking it to greater heights, making it spread its wings to encompass more avenues of learning.
Our wholehearted gratitude goes to all members of the Governing Council, the Principals, the intellectual members of faculty and administrative staff of all institutions, whom I declare without an iota of hesitation, is the reason for the excellent growth and glory of these institutions. I am especially moved the affection and cooperation of everyone which made the performance of duty and responsibility a pleasant and a memorable one.
